THE LEONTIENHUIS
Revenue from the sales of the Designer Pigs supports the Leontienhuis (in honour of the former cyclist Leontien van Moorsel and the Cyclist foundation).
The Leontienhuis is a shelter for people with eating disorders. Under the coaching and guidance of professionals and others in the field, its purpose is to help people with eating disorders to get back to enjoying life, without an unhealthy focus on weight and food.
The Leontienhuis is not a treatment centre; rather it is more of a care and services centre for people with eating disorders. It has a primarily information-giving, preventative, referral and after-care functions. The Leontienhuis aims to support people with eating disorders on their path to a healthy, positive future.
