Saskia Weerepas
Saskia Weerepas (Beugen, 1975) has one overarching passion: painting!
Since her early childhood, she has been enthralled by composition and combinations of colours. Slowly but surely she paved her way from figurative to abstract art. She studied at the Art Academy of Enschede for two years, but found she was unable to express her creativity there. A strong desire to take her creativity to new levels, without being restricted by rules and regulations, has turned her into an artist with a variety of styles.
She is not fond of quasi provocative statements about her art, but prefers instead to touch viewers in her own way, with humour, cosiness and in her own distinctive colour combinations.
Saskia strives to pass on her passion to the viewer through her art. Her work is now exhibited continually in the De Kunstkeuken gallery.
